Down the Rabbit Hole of “Less Is More”

Most of my compositions lean toward the “thick” side—rich with layers, complexity, and detail. I only have a handful of songs that feel sparse. But sometimes, we all crave something simple. Something that cuts through the noise and clutter. Something that stands on its own—confident, clear, and pure.

This two-and-a-half-minute piece hit that spot for me. No embellishments, no layers—just a theme that fell from my fingers and onto the keys. What came out was "Simplest Form."
